Hazel McMichael

I have performed, screened, and exhibited poetry and language-based art in theatres, literary festivals, open mics, galleries, nightclubs, and city streets, among other places. I also produced several hand-bound poetry pamphlets and artist’s books before taking a hiatus in 2014 to focus on my academic research, teaching, and caring responsibilities. I returned to writing poetry in 2024 and am slowly developing manuscripts for publication.
